Sandwich Harbour Private Half-Day Tour
Join us for a 4-hour 4x4 adventure into Sandwich Harbour, one of Namibia’s most spectacular coastal areas, where the Namib Desert meets the Atlantic Ocean.
The route takes us from Walvis Bay Lagoon, a Ramsar wetland, to the pink salt pans and along the beach before we head into the dunes. We’ll stop at several viewpoints along the way, with plenty of time to take in the scenery and photograph the ever-changing landscape.
Sandwich Harbour is also an area rich in history and home to sensitive desert flora. Keep an eye out for wildlife such as black-backed jackals, seals, oryx and springbok, with whales sometimes spotted along the coast depending on the season.
We finish with an all-inclusive picnic and chilled champagne before heading back to Walvis Bay.

From there, we continue to the Moon Landscape, a vast and rugged area shaped by millions of years of erosion. With its unusual rock formations and wide open views, it is one of the best areas around Swakopmund for landscape photography.
